Modern narwhals, modern finances.

What FatNarwhal is

FatNarwhal is a build-in-public project about markets — less a pitch, more an open notebook. The goal isn’t to hand you a conclusion; it’s to publish the real tools and the plain-English math behind them as they get built, so anyone curious can follow along and actually understand how markets work instead of taking someone else’s word for it.

What’s on the site now

A growing set of free quant tools and explainers — the Kelly Criterion, Monte Carlo simulation, Black-Scholes options pricing, GARCH volatility forecasting, a Bayesian updater, an arbitrage finder, and more, each with the math shown rather than hidden. There’s also a live markets comparator (Polymarket and Kalshi, side by side) and Dispatch, our news desk — but the tools and the explanations behind them are the real point.

What’s next

There’s more in the water than what’s surfaced yet — a few tools we’re still building out before they’re ready to show. If you want to hear about it first, follow along below rather than waiting on us to announce it.

Who’s behind it

FatNarwhal is built by Michael Incorvaia, a Georgia Tech student and builder who spends most of his time thinking about markets, data, and how people actually make decisions under uncertainty. It started as a side project and grew into something worth doing properly — still small, still independent, still moving.
